(re)vived & (re)woven
(re)vived & (re)woven explores repair and recycling through weaving. Continuing my master’s research into alternative methods of shoemaking and sustainable materials, this commissioned work for the Shoe Museum (Schoenenkwartier) investigates weaving as a means of repair. Using leftover materials from factories, such as shoe laces or leather cuttings, I weave these into existing footwear. The project continues my exploration of how weaving can turn repair into a form of renewal.

Nordic Biomaterials at Aalto University
I took part in the Aalto University CHEMARTS summer course to learn more about Nordic Biomaterials, specifically cellulose based materials. These findings I implemented on footwear experiments.
